Stellantis Confirms: Hybrid “Pandina” from Kragujevac for EUR 15,000

The new generation of the popular small city car is getting an electric drive and moving one class up. Fiat’s future B-class crossover will be launched in 2024. This model, with a length of around four meters, plays a key role in the strategy of the Turin-based producer of keeping its prominent place in the world market of small city cars.
– We want to position ourselves, to enable everyone to have a small, cheap and efficient electric vehicle. The new vehicle will be called “Pandina”, and it will be sold on all continents and with countless personalizations for certain market – announces Carlos Tavares, the CEO of Stellantis.
The new model will be produced in Serbia, Brazil and Morocco. Stellantis’s factory in Kragujevac, where “Fiat 500L” was produced until last year, will make the new model from 2024.

– This will be the first factory of serial electric vehicles in the Balkans, and the majority of the car has already been mastered by the workers from Kragujevac who have undergone training. So, the first “Pandas” are to be made in the factory in Sumadija in 2024 – Tavares points out.
He expects the new model to become popular in the region, thanks to the favorable prices. The simplest hybrid version should cost around EUR 15,000, and the electric one with a range of 200 km around EUR 20,000.
